Pre-Law Internship Program

College Undergraduates, recent graduates or law students:

If you're interested in one of our rigorous internship positions, start by applying here and attaching your resume. We have interns from sophomore in undergraduate through current law students.

Interns work on case files, meet clients, go to court with attorneys, participate in case assignment and case review. Interns also attend weekly legal lectures presented by a previous law school professor and brief legal cases.

Interns participate with the attorneys in the Angela Elain Baranski Free Legal Clinic, a non-profit, 501 (3) charitable corporation.

Interns may receive academic credit from their educational institution and we work with all schools.

 We have had students from other states; California, Indiana, Missouri, Mississippi,

Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Wyoming and the countries of Ireland, Italy and China.

 We have had students from the Lansing Community College, Baker College, Grand Valley State University, University of Michigan, [Ann Arbor, Flint and Dearborn], Western Michigan University, Central Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University, Michigan State University, Wayne State University, Trine University [Indiana], Miami University [Ohio], Truman State University [Missouri], Mississippi College [Mississippi], Haverford College [Pennsylvania] and Purdue University [Indiana].  Law students from:  Michigan State University College of Law, University of Tulsa College of Law and University of Illinois College of Law. Our alumni interns have been accepted at Michigan State University College of Law, Harvard Law School, Columbia Law School, Indiana University School of Law, and others. 

 This is a very rigorous program designed for highly motivated and conscientious pre-law students with an excellent attitude and work ethic.
